Job Title:

A Payment Recovery Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to customers with delinquent accounts using an auto-dialer or manual approach.
  • Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or one-time payments within client guidelines.
  • Comply with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and adhere to client-specific policies during interactions.
  • Update and maintain accurate notes and account statuses in the system.
  • Meet monthly collection targets, call volume, and quality performance indicators.
  • Use available tools to skip-trace consumers if contact details are invalid.
  • Handle disputes or validation requests professionally and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while dealing with consumers.
  • FOLLOW COMPLIANCE PROTOCOLS AND CALL HANDLING SCRIPTS STRICTLY.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma (12th Pass); Graduates preferred.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in debt recovery process.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in fluent English.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with debt collection laws.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems and basic Microsoft Office.
  • Others: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
