Acquiring and managing a commercial real estate portfolio is a critical role in our organization. As a key member of the team, you will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate property maintenance activities, and ensure timely payments to vendors and mortgage lenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of a diverse real estate portfolio, including office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and other commercial assets
  • Coordinate and monitor property maintenance activities, capital expenditures, and improvement projects to enhance property value and tenant experience
  • Process and manage third-party vendor payments and on-time mortgage payments
  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage and facilitate insurance claims when necessary

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Tenant Lease Administration: Enter lease agreement information & rent schedules, communicate with tenants regarding billing and lease language, process deposits and apply payments to tenant accounts, and assist with tenant aged receivables audits and collection efforts
  • Cash Flow Management: Collect and compile data for cash flow spreadsheets, review general ledger for income and expense entries that require reclassification, analyze leasing projections and activity, and assist with lender and investor reporting
  • Lease Compliance and Tenant Relations: Collaborate with leasing teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely renewal negotiations, establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants to enhance tenant satisfaction, address concerns, and ensure retention
  • Tenant Year-End Reconciliations: Prepare reconciliation data and calculations, either manually or through Yardi, post tenant year-end reconciliations charges/credit to tenant accounts, and respond to all tenant inquiries and audits related to year-end reconciliations

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager with expertise in Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in property management, advanced knowledge of leases and related documents, and exceptional communication and financial accounting skills.
