Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Coordinator to oversee the allocation and scheduling of resources within our operations.
  • This role involves coordinating with various departments to align resources with project requirements and timelines, ensuring efficient use of dry dock, fit-out berth, fabrication bays, blasting & painting cells, manpower, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement resource allocation plans to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  2. Coordinate with Project Planners, maintenance team, and department heads to ensure resource availability and utilization.
  3. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on resource usage, allocation efficiency, and potential bottlenecks.
  4. Formulate long-term and short-term plans to optimize shipyard operations and resource utilization.
  5. Conduct utilization analysis for dry docks, fit-out berths, and fabrication areas to determine under- or over-utilization.
  6. Collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and department heads to align resource plans with project milestones and requirements.
  7. Communicate resource availability and constraints to project stakeholders, facilitating adjustments to schedules and plans as needed.
  8. Maintain accurate records of resource allocation and utilization, documenting asset schedules, shifts in allocation, and reasons for reassignments.
