Job Title: Invoicing Specialist

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Invoicing Specialist is to ensure accurate and timely preparation of invoicing documents for all Forward Air shipments.

Key duties include creating scanning batches for various Forward Air documents, managing and indexing these batches, distributing them to relevant departments upon completion, compiling all required billing documents for invoicing, and reviewing shipment information in the AS400 system.

Additionally, this role involves comparing and marking billing documents for release, prioritizing PODS, and breaking down any Forward Air billing or pod documents sent to corporate from stations. The Invoicing Specialist must also monitor airbills in audit and accessorial charges, process invoice downloads for specific customers, and sort billing documents as needed.
