Key Responsibilities of an HR Manager

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the entire human resources lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, learning and development, performance management, personnel management, and administration.

Recruitment:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and offers.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment policies and procedures.

Learning and Development (L&D):

  • Leverage regional Skill Development Centres to enhance employee skills and knowledge through bespoke training programs.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, trainer-led, and online courses to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Evaluate the impact of L&D initiatives and recommend improvements for future implementation.

Performance Management System (PMS):

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions on Performance Management System policies for the regional team.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on PMS policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely completion of PMS processes within designated timelines.

Personnel Management:

  • Promote a positive work environment by providing mentorship and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and constructive manner.
  • Implement engaging strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Administration:

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of office facilities.
  • Procure and manage inventory of pantry supplies, office materials, and other essential items.
  • Facilitate effective communication with employees, visitors, and external stakeholders.
