Role Overview
The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business vision. This involves fostering effective communication between management and employees by addressing concerns, demands, and grievances.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as experience in recruitment and selection processes. They will also be able to develop and monitor comprehensive HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives
- Fostering effective communication between management and employees
- Managing the recruitment and selection process
- Developing and monitoring comprehensive HR strategies and systems
- Overseeing performance appraisal systems
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Maintaining pay plans and benefits programs
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR manager or executive
- Strong people skills and results-driven approach
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and analytics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to develop strategic plans and possess leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence in building and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels
- Skills in Employee Relations, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Employment Law, Change Acumen, and Strategic Planning
