Leadership Opportunity in Real World Data

The role of Senior Director is a key position within our organization, requiring a senior leader to oversee directly a significant body of work. The successful candidate will provide support to the RWD organization for other areas, working closely with non-India based leaders of the RWD team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of analysts who support the RFP process, requiring a solid understanding of customer problems and RWD assets. This team will be responsible for delivering accurate responses (counts, data profiles) to support pre-sales/sales teams.
  2. Provide guidance and oversight for consulting delivery work, shaping how work is funnelled to offshore teams and optimizing its delivery. Critical aspects include ensuring quality checking of outputs aligns with commitments made to clients.
  3. Build Indication Specific Data Lakes, creating data lakes that can be used as delivery accelerators. The Senior Director will supervise offshore resources to build, expand, and maintain this data lake powered by unstructured notes.
  4. Team management and leadership, serving as the single point of escalation for all team-related matters. Work closely with global leaders to ensure a 'healthy team' and assist in recruitment, training, engagement, and HR-overlay activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Proven leadership and subject matter expertise in RWD and clinical experience. Hold either a post-grad degree in clinical or bioinformatics or a post-grad degree in CS, Math, or equivalent with exposure to core data science algorithm development.
  2. At least 7-10 years of experience in leading globally distributed teams delivering consulting work predominantly in Data Science and Data Engineering. Alternatively, have a total of 15-18 years of work experience with 80% or more recent experience in bioinformatics, biopharma, and LifeScience related domains.
