Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Strategist to lead our data-driven initiatives and drive informed decision-making across the organization.

This role will play a key part in shaping our data strategy, ensuring that we harness the power of data to deliver business value.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data management principles and be able to develop and implement effective solutions to meet business needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Data Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Data Governance: Establish and maintain governance policies to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
  3. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills in data management and reporting.
  4. Reporting and Insights: Oversee the creation of dashboards and reports, delivering key insights to stakeholders.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, integrate data across systems, and support data-driven initiatives.
  6. Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with Data Engineering to assess, select, and implement data tools and platforms to optimize data storage, processing, and reporting capabilities.
  7. Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to data privacy laws and compliance standards, implementing best practices in data security and privacy.
Qualifications
  1. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in data management and reporting, with at least some leadership experience.
  2. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (STEM).
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data visualization tools, SQL, and data warehousing solutions. Knowledge of ETL processes and familiarity with cloud data platforms is a plus.
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and a strategic mindset, with proven experience in translating data into actionable business insights.
  5. Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
