Merchandising Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Leader to join our team. As a key member of the merchandising department, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a strategic merchandising plan that aligns with our brand's luxury positioning and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Assortment Development: Collaborate with design and buying teams to create seasonal product assortments based on global trends, regional needs, and customer expectations.
  • Category Management: Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and optimize category mix for full-price sell-through across all retail locations.
  • Allocation Strategies: Drive allocation strategies for flagship and high-performing stores, ensuring optimal stock levels and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Markdown Strategies: Implement markdown strategies that maintain brand exclusivity and drive sales while protecting profit margins.
  • Client Insights: Leverage client feedback and data to tailor assortments and personalize offerings, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with visual merchandising teams to enhance storytelling and in-store experience, creating an immersive brand environment.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Fashion Merchandising, Luxury Business, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years in merchandising within luxury retail, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of the luxury client, high-end product curation, and global luxury trends.
  • Experience managing merchandising in multi-store and omni-channel environments.
  • Expertise with merchandising tools and systems (e.g., ERP, SAP, JDA, Planning Systems).
