We are growing rapidly, and we need future leaders who can balance execution and strategic understanding. This role requires a seasoned professional who can operate at the edge of chaos-where deals are hard-won, allies are few, and failure is common.

This is not an easy sales role. You won't inherit warm accounts or enjoy neatly defined territories. You'll face skepticism, budget constraints, and long buying cycles. But if you crave ownership, impact, and recognition that matters, this role offers a path few can walk-fewer still can master.

The Field Command Duties for this role include:

  • Reconnaissance & Strategic Engagement:
  1. Lead frontline reconnaissance missions (a.k.a. discovery calls) to uncover client pain points, business goals, and their current marketing defenses.
  2. Engage in high-stakes diplomacy: consultative dialogues that align our battle-hardened arsenal with real-world client problems.
  3. Draft operational blueprints-business use cases and co-authored roadmaps-to plot the advance toward client success.
Solution Engineering & Combat Readiness Briefings:
  1. Collaborate with fellow tacticians-solution architects, analysts, and engineers-to customize and calibrate our Martech weaponry (GA4, GTM, GMP, CRO, Data Viz) for mission success.
  2. Construct field-ready proposal dossiers, complete with value frameworks and strategic payloads tailored for each target.
  3. Deliver clarity in chaos: articulate ROI and strategic advantage like a war general pitching to a defense council.
Territory Advancement & Objective Capture:
  1. Keep a full supply chain of opportunity: build and replenish a high-quality pipeline across sectors and geographies.
  2. Lead the full operation-from initial recon through prolonged negotiation-all the way to flag-planting (deal closure).
  3. Surpass monthly and quarterly conquest goals. No excuses. Just mission outcomes.
Transition to Ground Forces:
  1. Coordinate tactical handovers with internal units (Project Managers, Customer Success Teams) to ensure a seamless deployment of our forces post-contract.
  2. Transfer all intelligence-both technical and commercial-clearly, quickly, and without misfire.
  3. Stay embedded in early deployment to secure buy-in and alignment on both sides of the trench.
Intel Gathering & Command Briefings:
  1. Keep eyes on the battlefield: track competitor movements, industry trends, and emerging tools.
  2. Feed fresh insights back to command (product, solution, and leadership teams) to help improve arsenal and tactics.
  3. Keep your CRM logs clean and briefings crisp-your reports shape strategy and resourcing.

Qualifications to Enlist:

  • 3-6 years in consultative B2B combat-ideally in Martech, SaaS, or analytics units.
  • Trained in the terrain of digital marketing, analytics, and automation tools.
  • Decorated in C-suite-level engagements and enterprise sales diplomacy.
  • Self-led operator with a history of solo missions and effective cross-unit collaboration.

Field Tools You Should Know:

  • Familiarity with high-grade Martech tools: GA4, BigQuery, GTM, DV360, and Google Ads.
  • Exposure to solution-selling doctrines (Challenger, SPIN, MEDDIC, etc.).
  • Competency in analyzing battle maps (a.k.a. data) and presenting outcomes in simple storytelling way.
