Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Specialist to join our team. As a Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating IT contracts with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and alliance partners globally.

Your primary focus will be on reviewing procurement side contracts, but you may also have exposure to customer side contracts. You will work closely with procurement, business, and delivery functions to ensure the closure of transactions.

In addition to contract review and negotiation, you will also be responsible for coordinating with other legal team members, preparing monthly reports, conducting presentations and trainings as required, and working on legal projects on a case-by-case basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: You must have significant experience in contract negotiation, particularly with IT outsourcing contracts and other types of IT contracts with customers.
  • Interpersonal Competencies: You must be able to identify contractual, commercial, and operational risks and exposures in contracts, provide inputs/mark-up on contracts to negate these risks, and work with internal and external clients to structure, prepare, negotiate, and finalize agreements.
  • Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to participate in discussions with internal stakeholders, external counsels, and advisors during the entire contracting process.
  • Leadership Skills: You must be able to manage and give guidance to junior lawyers.
