Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Legal Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and negotiating customer and vendor contracts, including MSAs, DPAs, order forms, SOWs, marketing and event agreements, partner agreements, and related commercial contracts;
  • Providing legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms;
  • Attending customer and vendor negotiation calls with the team/independently;
  • Handling data privacy matters, including legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses in various contracts, and staying current with global regulatory developments;
  • Reviewing contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to the India jurisdiction;

The ideal candidate will have approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry, with strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.

In addition to relevant experience, the candidate should possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation;
  • Knowledge about SaaS contracts is an added advantage;
  • Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is an advantage;
  • Understanding of legal aspects related to employment contracts and related matters in India is an added advantage;

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry;
