Assistant Manager

At Accor, we are committed to providing exceptional hospitality experiences for our guests. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet and food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Banquet Manager and F&B Manager in supervising banquet operations and ensuring seamless execution of events.
- Collaborate with the F&B Manager to set departmental strategies and goals, driving operational excellence and achieving targets.
- Perform accurate reconciliation of daily cash controls and maintain a high level of financial integrity.
- Record staff working hours and process weekly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Ensure all food and beverages are set up and served according to company standards, maintaining high levels of quality and presentation.
- Coordinate and manage all activities of food service operations, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
- Maintain inventory of food materials, equipment, linens, and paper supplies, preventing shortages and ensuring continuity of service.
- Supervise the culinary operation team, providing guidance and support to deliver a diverse range of food items that attract and retain customers.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
- Organize and execute banquet events, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing needs and requests promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines and control expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Previous leadership experience in a Banquet Department, with a minimum of 1 year of experience managing meeting spaces.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications, with proficiency in software relevant to the role.
- University/College degree in a related discipline, such as hospitality or business administration.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Highly responsible and reliable, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
- Requires open availability, with the ability to work all shifts, including evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays.
