Financial Operations Specialist

A seasoned and proactive professional with exceptional organizational skills is required to support trade execution processes. This role involves the preparation of documentation in line with Letters of Credit (LC), including bank schedules, commercial invoices, and other contractual paperwork.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Document preparation for LCs, including bank schedules, commercial invoices, and contractual paperwork.
  • Issuance and review of import LCs, requesting amendments when necessary.
  • Management of invoicing for paper and physical trades, including proforma invoices.
  • Maintenance of Statements of Accounts and assistance with month-end closing activities.
  • Follow-up on payables, receivables, and accruals.
  • Update systems with stock movements (in/out) and ensure accurate matching.
  • Handling KYC and sanction clearance processes.
  • Projection of LC and cash flow requirements.
  • Preparation of stock reports and coordination of the release of Delivery Orders (D/O).
  • Compilation of traceability reports and management of cargo insurance and charterers liability declarations.
  • Processing of LOI cancellations.
  • Response to accounting, audit, and compliance-related queries.
