Supply Chain Professional

Description:

  • Responsibilities include managing the entire supply chain function, encompassing procurement, vendor development, logistics, inventory, and distribution.
  • Oversight of SCM strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and turnaround time.
  • Purchase Order (PO) generation and management to guarantee accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Vendor evaluation, registration, and negotiation for the best commercial and contractual terms while maintaining strong relationships to secure consistent supply quality and service.
  • Material dispatch and logistics coordination to meet customer requirements and project deadlines efficiently.
  • Stock management, including material planning, stocking, and distribution to avoid shortages or overstocking, ensuring accurate inventory tracking through regular reviews and implementation of best practices for warehouse and material management.
  • Invoicing and documentation oversight to ensure accuracy and timeliness, complying with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Supply Chain Management Information System (SCMIS) report generation for management review and decision-making purposes, analyzing stock reports, logistics data, and vendor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
  • Strong expertise in procurement, negotiation, vendor registration, logistics, inventory, and invoicing, as well as proficiency in ERP/SCM software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent understanding of e-way bills, challans, MIS reporting, and stock management.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
