Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our ecommerce efforts. This role will oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive growth strategy, driving revenue, margin, and customer acquisition goals.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute a holistic growth strategy across channels
  • Forecast demand and manage inventory to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Define product-market fit and adapt formulations for regional regulations and preferences
  • Negotiate with logistics and payment partners to optimize costs and service level agreements
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams (growth, operations, customer service, retail, trade)
  • Champion customer obsession and mine insights to feed product updates and enhancements
  • Drive strategic partnerships to amplify reach and ensure compliance
  • Present business reviews to leadership and deploy a test-and-learn culture
  • Benchmark competition and deliver actionable intel on pricing and shelf velocity

Requirements:

  • Degree from top-tier institutions; Ivy League schools, IIMs, XLRI, MDI, ISB, etc.
  • 10-17 years of experience in Retail industry (FMCG, Retail, Ecommerce)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical, data, and problem-solving skills with ability to use information for reporting
  • Effective task management, work independently, and be a team contributor
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
  • Organized with superior time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize under tight schedules
