Job Title: Institutional Strengthening Specialist

 

The role of an Institutional Strengthening Specialist is pivotal in implementing strengthening activities that enhance the resilience and capacity of institutions. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in preparing and finalizing annual training calendars, coordinating domestic and international training programs, organizing public outreach initiatives, managing social media and print/digital media platforms.

 

As a specialist, you will advise the Project Director on corrective and technical matters, manage the official website and Management Information System (MIS), support the Central Project Monitoring Unit (CPMU) in finalizing training programs, and conduct regular review meetings.

 

You will oversee various expert teams' activities, organize training programs on DHARMA and other capacity-building initiatives, handle assigned tasks by the Project Director, present technical case studies at conferences, and coordinate project rehabilitation reports.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant discipline and 15 years of experience in institutional development and strengthening.

  • Act as Nodal Expert for all dam safety institutional strengthening activities.
  • Prepare and finalize annual training calendars.
  • Coordinate and implement domestic and international training programs.
  • Organize public outreach programs and annual dam safety conferences.
  • Finalize draft guidelines/manuals for official publication.
  • Prepare and publish bulletins.
  • Manage DRIP activities on social media and print/digital media.
  • Advise the Project Director on corrective and technical matters.
  • Manage the official DRIP website and MIS system.
  • Support CPMU in finalizing training programs.
  • Conduct monthly review meetings.
  • Oversee activities related to various expert teams.
  • Organize training programs on DHARMA and other initiatives.
  • Handle DRIP-related activities assigned by the Project Director.
  • Present technical case studies at conferences.
  • Coordinate preparation of project rehabilitation reports.
  • Support finalization of CS&QA Manual and Plan.
  • Train trainers to strengthen DRIP IAs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of final documents under agreements.
  • Provide regular updates on project activities.
