Strategic Sales Director

At Ashland, we are seeking a talented Sales Account Manager to join our Ashland Life Sciences business in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
This is a highly visible role within the Company and the Lifesciences function, reporting to the Regional Sales Director.
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing a territory covering Gujarat and North India
- 10-15 years of sales experience
- Sales and business development of Ashland excipients with pharmaceutical, life science and biopharmaceutical companies
- Preparing and achieving sales targets and organizational goals
- Providing regular activity and results reports to management
- Utilizing value selling, key account management and interpersonal skills to improve profitability
- Monitoring competition and staying up-to-date on market trends
- Expanding existing accounts and developing new ones for Ashland excipients
- Contributing to the organization's goals by taking initiative and focusing on performance and safety
- Improving organizational capacity and capabilities by building collaborative relationships and utilizing positive communications

Ashland excipients are used in a variety of applications, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences and biopharmaceuticals. The Sales Account Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth.
