Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a seasoned leader to spearhead our commercial efforts across India, focusing on maximizing market opportunities.
  • The successful candidate will manage business operations, including sales and market share gain for products and/or services throughout assigned regions in India.
  • This role requires an effective positioning of our brand messaging together with definable and measurable sales goals.
Key Qualifications:
  • Business Development Strategy
  • Contribute to Global Accounts growth objectives
  • Determine strategies for selected Accounts
  • Build wallet share of business for Biocon API business in India
  • Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning
  • Cultivate relationships within customers, identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision-makers
  • Deploy consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions
  • Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from orders received to shipments despatched as per customer requirements
  • Coordinate with planning/production and Logistics/Shipping team to ensure despatch as per customer time-lines and shipping documentations provided to customer
  • Promote business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage of existing range of products in untapped regions

We require someone who can identify markets and customers for new products and assist regional heads for successful launch and ensuring sales of new products once commercialized.

Maintain high-quality market research, provide market intelligence, and key information on international market trends and competition to help division with future export strategies
