We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring factory costs are accurately accounted for and collaborating with regional and global finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data reporting.

Job Description:

  • To analyze and monitor the financial performance of business units and provide insights and recommendations to Factory Managers, ISEA Controllers, and Management.
  • Prepare management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and other defined timelines to support MMR, QBR, Forecasting, and Business Planning.
  • To participate in business projects with relevant business partners to drive and manage business performance like cost reduction programs in a full value chain approach.
  • Assist the management team with reinforcing strategic direction against daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
  • Develop annual business plans compliant with agreed-upon business strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Responsible for the calculation of standard cost updates according to SKF Policies.
  • Carry out Balance Sheet reviews and ensure the management of Fixed assets and working capital.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and weekly pulse updates.
  • Ensure process mapping, policy reviews/development, and strong internal controls.
  • Actively identify and participate in all continuous Improvement Initiatives.
  • Assist Engineering Managers and other management team members in preparation of capital investment requests (IRE's) and subsequent Capitalization.
  • Prepare Adhoc analysis and reports as required.]

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification & Experience: CA / CMA with 10-15 years of experience
  • Location: Pune Factory
  • Good knowledge of common financial standards and systems.
  • Experience with business planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proven proactive, innovative, critical, and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare concise financial reviews that drive business decisions.
  • Strong professional written, verbal communications, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel and a solid understanding of ERP systems.
  • Ability to work and facilitate within a team environment.
  • Teamwork, strong networking skills.
