Key Finance Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting, reporting, and local compliance for our India operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations: Manage the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data, including general ledger maintenance, fixed assets, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Treasury Management: Oversee all financial aspects of treasury activities, including management of banking relationships, monitoring of bank balances, and ensuring effective cash management.
  • Manufacturing Finance: Oversee all financial aspects of local manufacturing and distribution activities, including detailed cost accounting, monitoring of production costs, tracking of variances, and support of operational KPIs.
  • Compliance and Risk: Ensure full compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements in India, including but not limited to direct and indirect tax compliance, tax planning and reporting, and transfer pricing documentation.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Indian GAAP and reporting standards.
  • ERP system experience (preferably with a manufacturing or financial ERP system), with the ability to leverage ERP tools for financial reporting and analysis.
