Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our manufacturing finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, and inventory management.
This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, identifying areas for cost reduction, and implementing process improvements.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to analyze complex data sets, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost control measures to minimize waste and optimize production costs
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounts
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4-10 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
CMA/MBA (Finance) would be advantageous, as would experience in flexible packaging or plastic manufacturing industries.
