We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Developer to join our team at Cleantech Industry Resources. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the development of solar energy projects in the United States.

Job Summary

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market research to identify opportunities and trends in the US solar energy sector. This will involve analyzing data and providing insights on the impact of federal, state, and local policies and regulations on project feasibility and profitability.

You will also be responsible for preparing comprehensive Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) that encompass technical, financial, and regulatory aspects of solar projects. These reports will be used to inform stakeholders and guide decision-making.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to have excellent communication and presentation skills. You will be required to develop clear, concise, and insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders, as well as communicate complex data and findings through presentations and client meetings.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy Technology, Energy Systems, or Renewable Energy;
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in the solar sector, preferably with consultancy and analyst experience;
  • Proven experience in market research and policy analysis within the US solar energy market;
  • DPR preparation experience with the ability to compile comprehensive technical, financial, and regulatory project reports;
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills;
  • Knowledge of solar energy policies, incentives, and regulations in the United States;
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail;
Salary and Benefits

Our salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
