Job Overview:

  • This is a senior leadership position that involves overseeing project execution tasks, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Develop project scope, Gantt charts, budgets, and safety plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Process Optimization: Work on process improvements, SOPs/checklists, policies, and develop teams to optimize resources and drive change initiatives.
  3. Safety Protocols: Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Troubleshooting: Support teams in troubleshooting installation-related issues and provide solutions.
  5. BOM Submissions: Submit accurate BOMs to the purchase team on time.
  6. RMS Team Support: Collaborate with the RMS team to resolve critical issues related to DGPD & ZFD selection and configuration for timely handover to the asset management team.
  7. Cost Optimization: Regularly track and optimize major costs to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  8. WBS Updates: Ensure 100% of project WBS updates are recorded in ERP systems.
  9. Design and Engineering: Provide design and engineering support for distributed projects, optimizing designs to minimize material costs.
  10. Validations: Validate designs, identify constraints, bottlenecks, and provide corrective actions.
  11. Prioritization: Prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.
  12. Meetings and Coordination: Conduct need-based client meetings, vendor meetings, site visits, and coordination.
  13. Skills Development: Build necessary skills and technical competency within the team for successful task accomplishment.
  14. Training: Provide technical and safety training to the team.
  15. Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of all projects in OneDrive and ERP systems.
  16. Standards Compliance: Adhere to Electricity Boards, MNRE, IEC, IEEE, BIS guidelines.
  17. Implementing New Ideas: Implement new ideas and design software to add value in engineering design.
  18. Resource Requirements: Identify resource requirements, including design software, to meet design goals.
  19. Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, sales teams, purchase teams, and asset management teams.
  20. Vendor Management: Empanel, develop, and manage execution vendors for flawless project execution, ensuring ESG compliance and providing necessary safety training to vendors.
