We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Channel Growth Director to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to drive channel strategy, devise frameworks for maximum geographical reach, and contribute to business growth.
About the Role:
This senior leadership position will lead the development of a comprehensive channel strategy, focusing on sales and distribution partnerships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, managing complex relationships, and developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global channel strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and resellers.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of regional channel managers.
- Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to optimize channel operations.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and guidelines while fostering excellent communication internally and externally.
- Drive adoption of company programs among assigned channels/distributors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of channel strategies.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in BSc/Commerce/Economics or Master's degree in Business Administration (preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on sales and channel development for a similar industry.
- Track record of achieving targets for AR collections, partner recruitment & enablement, and review performance.
- Ability to work closely with commercial and finance teams to ensure financial health for the division.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact with technical and business counterparts both within and outside the company.
- Strong analytical skills, intellectual ability to develop ideas, apply creative thinking, prepare business plans, and report quantitative data.
- Decision-making ability to perceive and evaluate alternatives, analyze impact of decisions before executing them, and implement decisions with appropriate evidence and rationale.
Salary Range:$150,000 - $200,000 per annum
