Automation System Manager Position

This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of automation systems to optimize production processes.

  • Developing and implementing automation solutions that integrate with existing industrial IT/OT systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations and effective resource allocation.
  • Maintaining a high level of system reliability, performance, and efficiency through continuous monitoring and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, best practices, and safety standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project team members, internal clients, suppliers, and other business partners.
  • A collaborative mindset, with experience working in multicultural environments and leading diverse teams.
Additional Responsibilities

As an Automation System Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Training employees on new automation systems and ensuring they are proficient in using them.
  • Deploying temporary engineers, consultants, and contractors to support automation projects.
  • Traveling up to 50% of the time for site visits and collaboration with global teams.

Requirements:

  • +10 years of experience in automation and related fields.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English language, local language (if required).
