A key aspect of this role is the development and implementation of programmable logic controller (PLC) libraries to optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and integrate PLC programs using industry-standard software tools to enhance system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), human-machine interface (HMI), and other control systems to achieve seamless integration.
  • Maintain and enhance existing PLC libraries to ensure compatibility with evolving technologies, ensuring a robust and scalable automation framework.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in PLC programming and automation engineering, with a strong foundation in industrial automation principles.
  • Proficiency in MODBUS RTU/TCPIP/IP, RS 485/232, and IEC 61850/104 protocols, with the ability to work with various communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with Schneider Modicons and other industrial control systems is an added advantage, providing expertise in multiple automation platforms.
