Industrial Automation Project Manager Position Overview

This is a challenging role that involves designing, developing, and implementing automation systems on a manufacturing level to optimize production processes.

  • Design and develop automation systems to streamline production processes.
  • Implement and budget automation systems to optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and performance.
  • Manage project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team, internal clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with people involved in the project.
  • Lead, motivate, and empower the project team.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation systems, tools, and standards.

  • Familiarity with different types of automation technologies.
  • Ability to design, configure, test, and troubleshoot automation solutions.
  • Awareness of best practices, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong managerial skills.
  • Skilled in negotiating, persuading, and influencing.
  • Capable of handling conflicts, challenges, and stress.
  • Having a continuous learning mindset.
  • Problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • +10 years of experience in a similar field of automation and environment.
  • Bachelor or master degree in Electrical/Automation, Mechatronics, or gained by experience.
  • Broad knowledge of Directives such as CE, Machinery, ATEX, PGS, PED, NEN, EN norms, EHS norms.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel, Office Outlook.
Travel Requirements:

Up to 50% travel may be required.
