The role of the Human Resources Manager is multifaceted and requires a skilled professional to oversee all aspects of HR within an organization. This includes talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, and HR operations.
Talent Acquisition Strategy- Recruitment Process Management: Sourcing, screening, scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding are managed end-to-end by this position.
- Role Requirements Definition: Collaborating with department heads to define role requirements and build effective hiring pipelines.
- Talent Pool Development: Utilizing job portals, referrals, and agency partners to attract high-quality talent and building an active talent pool for future hiring needs.
- Candidate Experience Enhancement: Owning pre-onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Training Need Analysis: Conducting TNA in collaboration with department heads to identify training requirements.
- Internal and External Training Programs: Planning, scheduling, and implementing internal and external training programs to enhance employee capabilities.
- Capability-Building Initiatives: Partnering with external trainers, certification bodies, and learning platforms for capability-building initiatives.
- Training Effectiveness Tracking: Tracking training effectiveness through post-program feedback and performance metrics.
- Employee Record Maintenance: Maintaining accurate employee records and handling documentation such as offer letters, contracts, confirmation, and exit.
- Payroll and Attendance Management: Overseeing payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management in coordination with Finance.
- Statutory Compliance: Managing statutory compliance support through external vendors.
- Employee Grievance Handling: Handling employee grievances, policy queries, and HR helpdesk responsibilities.
- Offboarding Process Management: Ensuring a smooth offboarding experience including exit interviews, F&F coordination, and documentation.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Planning and implementing employee engagement initiatives such as rewards & recognition, team-building, town halls, etc.
- Internal Communications: Supporting internal communications and organizational announcements.
- Employee Well-being: Championing employee well-being and supporting a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Annual Feedback Surveys: Driving annual employee feedback surveys and supporting action planning.
- HR Branding: Supporting HR branding and internal campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
- Policies and Labor Laws: Ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Employee Handbook and SOPs: Maintaining and updating the employee handbook, code of conduct, and HR SOPs.
- HR Audits and Compliance: Contributing to HR audits, ISO compliance (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.), and documentation as required.
- Process Automation: Driving automation and continuous improvement across HR processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree / MBA in Human Resources Management or Post-Graduate Diploma in HR (PGDHRM) from a recognized institute (Preferred).
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in HR functions (Recruitment, Operations & L&D).
- Prior experience in a mid/large-sized organization or service-based company preferred.
- Experience working in a standalone or lead HR role is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of recruitment, payroll basics, labour laws, and HR processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and employee relationship management skills.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms, Excel, and document management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong planning, time management, and multitasking abilities.
