
HR Assistant Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources professional to manage the day-to-day HR operations, support strategic initiatives, and ensure smooth functioning of all HR activities. This role involves talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Develop job descriptions and post job openings
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs
Employee Relations
Address employee queries and resolve workplace issues
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Performance Management
Assist in designing and implementing performance appraisal systems
Track KPIs and performance metrics
Provide support in employee development plans
HR Policy & Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Maintain and update HR documentation and employee records
Support audits and legal compliance processes
Payroll & Benefits
Coordinate payroll processing with the finance team or vendor
Manage employee benefits and leave administration
Learning & Development
Identify training needs and organize development programs
Monitor effectiveness of training and development initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
[1-5]+ years of experience in a similar HR role
Good knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., Zoho, SAP, BambooHR)
Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR, CIPD)
Experience in [industry-specific experience if needed, e.g., tech/startups/manufacturing]
Familiarity with HR analytics and digital HR tools
