About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Innovation and Operations Manager to lead our Garage Lab in Bangalore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing innovation labs, workshops, and maker environments, as well as coaching and supporting employees on creative problem solving, prototyping, and rapid iteration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage makerspace operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation among team members, encouraging them to explore new ideas and approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business growth.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance technical expertise and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, milestones, and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in innovation program facilitation, makerspace management, or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on technical expertise in 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, electronics prototyping, and related tools.
  • Proven ability to coach and support employees on creative problem solving, prototyping, and rapid iteration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and diverse employee groups.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead small teams.
