Job Description
Job Title: Associate Relationship Manager-MEL/PL
We are seeking a skilled Associate Relationship Manager to join our team at IDFC FIRST Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with our Rural Banking customers and providing best-in-class service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage zoning activity to map household needs in villages and areas allocated
- Conduct end-user checks as specified post disbursal of loans while achieving monthly and annual group loan booking targets
- Assess and evaluate client needs and generate new sources of revenue by leveraging cross-sell opportunities as per their lifestyle, risk profiling, and requirements
- Contribute to penetration of liabilities business in Rural markets through lead generations and account opening as per customer needs
- Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships
- Nudge behavioral changes in customers to drive them towards online banking
- Maintain high collections efficiency through discipline and drive
- Monitor preparation of accurate documentation of loans and saving accounts
- Coordinate with operations officers to ensure timely and accurate data entry
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance as per bank requirements
- Conduct field audits and customer verifications to ensure high-quality accounts
- Gather latest market intelligence and track and benchmark against best practices in competitor banks
- Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network
- Provide support for implementation of livelihood advancement and community development initiatives
Requirements:
1-5 years of relevant branch banking experience
Job Purpose:
To start a Personal Loan in the Rural Market and service and source the product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify business owners/entrepreneurs in the defined catchment and identify/assess their business loan needs
- Map out prospects in the town to scope business potential
- Disburse Personal loans based on needs assessment
- Conduct end-use checks as specified post disbursal of loans

- Cross-sell products and services to both new and existing customers as per their lifestyle, risk profiling, and requirements
