Professor in Physiotherapy

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy, excellent teaching and research skills, and a passion for mentoring students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students at various academic levels, creating and maintaining course materials and curriculum, and evaluating students' assignments and performance. They will also be expected to conduct research in physiotherapy, target publication in acclaimed journals, and seek external funding to facilitate research activities.

In addition to their academic responsibilities, the Professor will provide mentorship to students, offering guidance on academic and career development. They will also participate in departmental and university service, including committee work, community engagement, and collaboration with stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Ph.D. in physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Demonstrable ability or potential for research and teaching excellence.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience in securing research funding, publishing in academic journals, and working in industry settings is highly desirable.
