Company Secretary & Legal Manager Position

This is a key leadership role that works directly with senior management and the Board of Directors to ensure the organization operates at the highest standards of regulatory and legal integrity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, 2013. They will also conduct board and committee meetings, draft minutes and resolutions, and maintain statutory registers.

In addition, they will draft, review, and manage legal agreements, MoUs, and contracts with partners, vendors, and government bodies, as well as coordinate with regulators, external legal counsel, and auditors.

Other responsibilities include setting up and managing the POSH framework, managing intellectual property filings, data privacy frameworks, and cyber law compliance in alignment with tech-first mandates, contributing to internal policy formulation and ethical frameworks, and overseeing the company's legal operations.

Requirements for this role include being a qualified Company Secretary (ACS/FCS) and Law Graduate (LLB), with 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in a tech-driven company.

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, have a strong understanding of corporate law and regulations, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
