Job Description

Aurex Inc is looking for a GRC consultant role as an integral member of the GRC Implementation team.

The responsibility of the GRC Consultant is to carry out the implementation of GRC systems for our customers related to policy compliance, security requirements governance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Participate in Client Initiatives: Focus on reducing technology risk, governance, and compliance to policies and external regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate Business and IT Risks: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop IT Security Standards: Create procedures and controls to manage risks and improve client security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Evaluate Information Security Threats: Assess the impact of threats on clients' IT environments.
  • Support Senior Team Members: Assist with analyzing requirements and designing clients' information security posture, Legal, Regulatory, and Scheme security requirements.
  • Delivery of Work Streams: Support senior team members in delivering work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL and incident management disciplines.
  • Performing Risk Assessments: Perform and investigate internal and external information security risk and exception assessments.
  • Document Control Failures: Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders and provide remediation guidance.
  • Staying Current: Stay current on best practices and technological advancements and act as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years Experience: In IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Understanding of Standards: Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards preferred.
  • Risk Management Principles: Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Professional Certifications: Ideally will have a CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM qualification.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions and judgments under tight timelines.
  • Influencing Skills: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative way both internally and externally.
