International Travel House Limited is seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to spearhead its Sales acquisition, Client retention and expansion efforts for the TRS business (Business Travel) of the Company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading profitable sales efforts, crafting sales plans, and ensuring that ITH remains competitive and innovative. The position will be based in Mumbai.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and acquiring new business for the company, delivering on sales targets, and personally leading sales efforts for large/key clients
  • Developing business strategies and plans for profitable customer retention and expansion of ITH share in shared accounts, owning the implementation of such plans
  • Maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects and following the sales process with required rigour, implementing a robust sales governance framework, including regular review and feedback process
  • Upselling and cross-selling various Products/Service Offerings of the Company to new prospects and existing clients, proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs and priorities on an ongoing basis

This role requires a strong business sense and industry expertise, coupled with excellent customer service skills, negotiation skills, experience in advising and interacting at an executive level, relationship management, communication, and influencing skills.

We are looking for a progressive individual who has good understanding of Technology and Analytics, with an energetic, forward-thinking, and creative approach, high ethical standards, and an appropriate professional image.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and preferably an MBA in Sales & Marketing
  • 6-10 years relevant experience in Travel Sales and Client Management, experience preferably in a traditional TMC will be preferred
  • Familiarity with Sales pipeline and forecasting CRM tools e.g. Salesforce.com

A suitable candidate for this role can expect an estimated annual salary of ₹12,00,000 - ₹18,00,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
