About Performance Test Engineer Role

A technology consulting organization specializing in outsourced product engineering services is seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5.5 years of experience in performance testing with good hands-on knowledge of scripting using tool JMeter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and understand the performance testing requirements.
  • Create load generation scripts using tools like JMeter.
  • Apply customization in scripts as required.
  • Setup monitoring required and able to capture the results.
  • Generate performance test reports from the data collected.
  • Interact with all stakeholders about error/issues faced effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Well-versed in performance testing concepts and terminologies.
  • Knowledge of monitoring servers and setting up monitoring counters using tools like Perfmon, Azure Insights, Cloud Watch.
  • Familiarity with tools like Fiddler, Chrome Developer toolbar and ability to analyze application traffic.
  • Coding skills in Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting.
  • Experience of performance testing over AWS and Azure Cloud platform.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
