Position Overview:
Ocularity Analytics seeks a Strategic Digital Growth Manager to locate, develop, define, negotiate, and close new business relationships. Key responsibilities include shaping the company's digital services approach from start to finish and overseeing multiple projects across departments. This role will perform extensive market research, gather valuable insights, and identify industry best practices. The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, in-depth knowledge of digital business development, expert communication skills, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a comprehensive digital business strategy and executing it.
- Researching potential clients, industries, and markets for our digital marketing services.
- Informing others about company services and acting as a point of contact for new and existing clients.
- Performing targeting exercises and developing deep human insights to inform ways to connect with new audiences.
- Establishing a pipeline of core digital marketing activities aligned with revenue targets and goals.
- Nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and tailoring solutions accordingly.
- Leading client presentations, negotiations, and proposal development effectively articulating the value of our services.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and projects.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to provide clients with innovative solutions.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, while maintaining accurate sales records.
- Attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our agency's services and expand the client base.
- Contributing to marketing collateral, case studies, and other materials to support business development efforts.
- Providing regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the leadership team.
Requirements:
- A minimum 4 years of proven business development experience in a digital marketing agency or related industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Deep understanding of digital marketing services, including social media management, web design, performance marketing, SEO, and design-related solutions.
- Ability to think strategically and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Navigator, Sales IQ, and other sales CRMs to target potential clients effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully expanding business into overseas markets, preferably in regions like the USA and Europe.
- Commercially minded, believing in the power of brands, with a self-motivated and proactive mindset.
About the Role:
This role offers a competitive salary ($80,000 - $120,000 per year) and a performance-based commission structure.
