HR Leader in India Job Description

The HR Head- India is a critical leadership role based in Mumbai, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns seamlessly with our business objectives.

This role involves leading a team of HR professionals, acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, fostering a high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent. You will champion employee engagement, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment that empowers our people to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and global initiatives.
  • Facilitate the organization's structural planning and reorganization efforts.
  • Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and learning and development.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Support in the development and implementation of global HR programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide HR guidance and support.
  • Provide strategic leadership and effective management to the Human Resources team in India.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational success.
  • Experience working in a multinational company, preferably in hearing healthcare, audio technology industry.
