Job Description:

The Corporate HR Head plays a pivotal role in spearheading organisational transformation and embedding a positive culture. They champion the company's values through strong leadership and inspirational behaviour, driving the organisation towards excellence.

  • Lead the development of effective employment policies, providing professional guidance to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Provide strategic direction for the HR department, overseeing Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, and maintaining/improving HR systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement, focusing on engagement & welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers, and building leadership capability.
  • Take ownership of transforming and strengthening organisational culture, ensuring that company values and approach are displayed consistently.
  • Execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion, aligning with company values, business strategy, and commitments.
  • Regularly coach, mentor, and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships, and encourage retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on Employment Law, HR policy, best practice, and workforce development.
  • Provide reports on all areas of HR, including payroll and learning and development.
  • Manage the execution of the HR Strategy, core areas of the HR department, and maintain/improve HR systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Master's degree in HR or a related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Proven ability to create people strategy, drive performance, and make quick yet rational decisions.
  • Commercial acumen and experience using metrics to drive results.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for leading with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire collaboration and motivate teams.
  • Thorough attention to detail, good time management skills, and the ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and use initiative.
  • First-rate analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think innovatively and rationally about complex issues.
