The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of security systems and processes to safeguard our data and infrastructure from cyber threats. Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection solutions, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems">
  • Monitor security events and alerts generated by various security tools and systems, and respond promptly to potential security incidents or breaches">
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify and address security weaknesses in our systems and networks">
  • Help develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard our data and infrastructure from cyber threats">
  • Contribute to incident response efforts by assisting in the investigation, containment, and recovery of security incidents and breaches">
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and trends, and proactively recommend security enhancements or countermeasures">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the design and development of new systems, applications, and services">
  • Support security awareness and training programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance">
  • Assist with security compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards">
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to internal stakeholders on cyber security best practices and procedures">

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field">
    • 1-2 years of experience in a cyber security role or related field (internship or entry-level positions)">
    • Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common cyber security principles">
    • Familiarity with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, antivirus software, SIEM solutions, etc">
    • Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing">
    • Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, etc">
