We're seeking a hardworking individual with superb energy and initiative for new business acquisitions. This role focuses on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition.

MongoDB continuously innovates - not only in technology but also in our sales go-to-market strategy. We equip you to be successful, close deals, and provide feedback on how we can improve. As part of the Sales team at MongoDB, you'll access a lucrative market and learn from experienced sales leaders.

We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Mumbai for our hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline
  • Closing business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Build strong relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Participate in our comprehensive training, including our Sales Bootcamp and leadership programs
  • Work closely with the Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 8+ years of field experience in quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on growth business (Upsell & Cross-sell)
  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • Familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open-source technology is a plus
  • Driven and competitive: Possess a strong desire to be successful
  • Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying opportunities
  • Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility. High EQ and self-aware

Estimated Salary Range: ₹1,200,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum
