Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our partnerships in India's payments industry. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize payment processes and guiding product teams on India-specific best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage partnerships in India's payments industry, working closely with various stakeholders to enhance Google's payment processes.
  • Advise product teams on India-specific payments expertise, partner management, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the entire partnership development lifecycle, including RFIs, RFPs, and agreement negotiations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for resolving partner escalations across financial, operational, technical, and regulatory issues.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or investment banking, preferably in payments or fintech industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing payment-related partnerships in India and working with C-level executives.
  • In-depth knowledge of payment acceptance flows, fintechs, financial institutions, and payment processing regulations in India.
