Key Corporate Counsel Position

The role of Key Corporate Counsel is a vital part of the Legal Department, working alongside skilled professionals to deliver legal and compliance solutions to the business.

This position requires a seasoned legal professional with 14-18 years of experience in a legal and compliance role. Essential skills include elements of corporate compliance programs and advising on them.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise-wide compliance management programs across various locations.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Implementing Compliance Programs: Develop, adopt, and execute Infosys's Whistleblower Program globally, ensuring it comprises seven pillars of an efficient and effective corporate compliance program.
  2. Global Investigations: Handle global investigations on diverse issues, negotiate remediations, and implement corrective actions.
  3. Compliance Objectives: Contribute to achieving corporate compliance operational objectives by providing information and recommendations to the Compliance & Integrity Plan and its reviews.
  4. Whistleblower Systems: Review and enhance whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in close collaboration with HR.
  5. Training and Communications: Plan, organize, and conduct trainings and communications to enhance and grow the whistleblower program.
  6. Regulatory Analysis: Interpret new regulations and laws by reviewing proposed and adopted state legislation and regulations.
  7. Complaints and Investigations: Effectively handle complaints and investigations, and implement remediation processes.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with functions like facilities, government relations, finance, HR, sales, and delivery to support Infosys's expansion agenda.
  9. Public Policy Advice: Advise on public policy, working closely with the Government relations team.
  10. Defending Company Positions: Support company positions by developing responses and defenses to complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
  11. Identifying Legal Solutions: Demonstrate ability to identify legal solutions to solve complex business issues and advise internal customers with precise counsel.
