Job Title: Remote Desktop Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled IT professional to fill the role of Remote Desktop Support Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in desktop support and possess mandatory skills such as desktop support, remote desktop support, and Windows.
About the Role:
This position involves providing round-the-clock technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. The successful candidate will monitor and respond to incidents via ticketing system within SLA timelines, perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues.
They will also support users across different time zones and ensure minimal downtime, maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
- Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
- Maintain logs of support requests, resolutions, and system updates.
- Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts.
- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate unresolved issues.
- Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and applications.
- Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support.
- Mandatory skills: Desktop Support, Remote Desktop Support, Windows.
