Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Support Specialist to join our team in maintaining the VMware Horizon VDI platform. This individual will serve as the primary technical resource for supporting and resolving end-user VDI issues, from session performance to profile-related incidents.

Key responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and updating golden images for various user groups; validating and troubleshooting application functionality within VDI sessions; creating and managing desktop pools in Horizon Administrator/Console; performing root cause analysis for recurring issues; and collaborating with infrastructure teams on networking, storage, or host-level issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of tools like Horizon Administrator/Console, vSphere Client, and basic PowerShell scripting, as well as experience supporting VMware Horizon View (7.x or 8.x), including Connection Server, Composer, and Agent.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years in IT support roles with at least 1 year supporting VDI environments
  • Experience with Windows desktop OS (Windows 10/11), Active Directory, and group policies
