Job Title: Government Public Sector Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead business development and advisory engagements in the Government and Public Sector domain, requiring expertise in investment promotion, policy implementation, and infrastructure research.

  • Manage end-to-end government consulting and account management activities across various sectors.
  • Facilitate investment promotion and policy implementation through direct engagement with government agencies.
  • Act as liaison between government and industry during national and international events, trade shows, and investment summits.
  • Conduct policy research, feasibility studies, and sectoral analyses to support decision-making and project development.
  • Identify and nurture opportunities through tenders, empanelments, and public-private partnership initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with government officials, industry stakeholders, and investors to position our organization as a trusted partner.
  • Develop presentations, proposals, and communication material for government engagements.
  • Maintain MIS dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track policy implementation and project progress.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3–8 years of experience in government consulting, investment promotion, or infrastructure research.
  • Strong exposure to IT & electronics, urban infrastructure, transport, energy, and water sectors.
  • Proven experience in policy advisory, government liaison, and project facilitation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
  • A willingness to travel extensively to government departments, industry events, and project sites.
PREFERRED SKILLS

While not mandatory, prior experience in:

  • Consulting firms, government advisory projects, or multilateral agency assignments would be beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement, incentive processing, and investment facilitation is desired.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, prepare market research reports, and deliver actionable insights is an asset.
  • Experience with event representation, branding, and promotional outreach in government contexts is advantageous.
