The Motilal Oswal Centre for Capital Markets aims to foster education, research, training, and innovation in financial markets, fintech, quantitative finance, and investment management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  1. Formulate and execute the Centre's long-term vision and strategy.
  2. Develop programmes aligned with the Centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.
Education and Research Program Management:
  1. Support research projects, working papers, and publications in financial markets.
  2. Support faculty-led research, student engagement, and visiting scholar initiatives.
  3. Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
Industry and Stakeholder Engagement:
  1. Build partnerships with financial institutions, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other organizations.
  2. Organize seminars, panel discussions, and talks/lectures by industry experts.
Operational Oversight:
  1. Manage day-to-day administration of the Centre, including budgeting, reporting, and resource planning.
  2. Supervise support staff, interns, and research associates.
Communication and Outreach:
  1. Oversee the Centre's visibility, including publications, newsletters, and website updates.
  2. Represent the Centre at conferences, academic forums, and industry meetings.

Desired Profile:

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in academia, research, financial services, or relevant organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage academic and research programmes.
  • Understanding of financial markets, fintech, or quantitative finance is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in academic institutions or research centres.
  • Strong professional network in finance or policy domains.
  • Familiarity with grant writing, fundraising, and donor engagement.
