The Construction Programme Lead is accountable for overseeing and coordinating multiple construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, project governance, budget management, schedule management, CAPEX tracking & stakeholder communication to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contractual and statutory requirements.

About the Role:
  • This individual will be responsible for implementing and enforcing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) policies consistently across all projects.
  • The Construction Programme Lead will monitor project statuses meticulously, providing key insights to senior management for effective decision-making.
  • Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, including Bond Guarantees (BGs), insurances, and statutory requirements, working collaboratively with partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) policies consistently across all projects.
  • Monitor project statuses meticulously, providing key insights to senior management for effective decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, including Bond Guarantees (BGs), insurances, and statutory requirements, working collaboratively with partners.
  • Track project and contractual timelines rigorously; advise on Liquidated Damages (LD) penalties, Extensions of Time (EOTs), and recovery or extension of BGs as necessary.
Project Governance:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project governance frameworks.
  • Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure seamless communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Manage cash flow and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in programme/project management, preferably in construction industry/sector.
  • Strong understanding of PLM policies, project governance, and contract management.
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
