
Chief Compliance Officer

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the Pharmacovigilance system, ensuring it is compliant and efficient. Your primary goal will be to maintain awareness and adherence to local and global processes, national and international regulations, and guidelines for pharmacovigilance.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of national/regional regulatory legislation and guidelines, as well as a strong understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations across various countries. You will lead and coordinate internal and external PV audits and inspections, monitor PV system performance, and contribute to monitoring the safety profile.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organizing and managing a compliant Pharmacovigilance system
- Maintaining awareness and adherence to local and global processes, national and international regulations, and guidelines for pharmacovigilance
- Leading and coordinating internal and external PV audits and inspections
- Monitoring PV system performance and compliance of partners and distributors
The successful candidate will have a degree/advanced degree in medicine or life sciences or equivalent experience. A minimum of five years of working experience within the pharmaceutical industry and five years within pharmacovigilance is required.
Additional requirements include:
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality work using strong organizational, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Skilled at people management and overseeing outsourced vendor activities
- Capable of troubleshooting and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical development processes
